Difficult game of football
It is the time to prepare ourselves for the cup games. We have to face a superior team with much better leadership than our previous opponents. Numbers just don't add up and there is absolutely nothing we can do to tip the balance to our corner.
What shall we do then? Damage control is a big part of team management and leadership, therefore we will set the game plan into defense. Furthermore all the key people that can be saved stay out of the starting lineup. I don't want to worry about injuries on our first league game.
Everybody just plays time and takes it easy. This game tactics will guarantee that we loose but we will not loose big time. We get the money for the game, avoid major injuries and maintain the support of our, well, supporters.
We shall have a well-rested team in the actual league games and our pockets full of money. Let others put high stakes into no-win situations and burn themselves out. Over and out.
